Fat Biking
Biking and snow make a perfect combination. It’s true. Fat Biking is a fantastic way to shred the trails when the snow falls. In Muskoka, Echo Valley Nature & Bike Trails in Dwight, Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve in Lake of Bays and Torrance Barrens near Gravenhurst are all great options.
Skiing and Snowboarding
Mount St. Louis-Moonstone, located just south of us, is renowned for its excellent education programs and group ski programs. With 36 slopes, nine chairlifts and three carpets they can accommodate everyone from the beginner skier to the most advanced snowboarder. Snowmobile
Add some romance to this classic winter activity with a Moonlight Ride. Cottage Country Tours offers a fleet of touring snowmobiles, all equipped with electric start, hand and thumb warmers, that are suitable for one or two riders. Their Moonlight Ride is a romantic way to see the brilliant display of stars in the the night sky. If you have your own sled, Rawley Resort is located beside an OFSC snowmobile trail, making Rawley a perfect home base for a day on the trails.
